Regional Sales Manager - CPG - West-Supermarket

This is a home-based role, with required travel to supermarket and wholesale headquarter locations throughout the SW US.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • RSM in charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales for specific direct and indirect Northeast convenience store customers.

  • Provides day-to-day operations of the West sales team, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.

  • Analyze sales data to determine business growth potential.

  • Develop and improves business relations with West/SW customers.

  • Establish and target new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.

  • Responsible for Forecasting and Financial Planning execution and management of specific trade budgets.

  • Manage trade spending budgets while identifying areas to enhance efficiency.

 Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a sales capacity within the Grocery Channel within CPG environment. 
  • Strong motivational, analytic, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
  • Travel Up to 50% domestic
